Dear Parents/Caregivers

Please support your child/ren to learn their Spelling words everyday.  Five words every week.  Start with words from the Reading Magenta Spelling Rocket and Essential Writing List After 1 Year at school.  Phonics and Spelling help your child/ren with Reading and Writing.  

By the end of Term 3 - your child should know all the words from: Essential                                                             Spelling Writing Lists - First Year at School 

By the end of Term 4 - your child should know all the words from: Essential                                                              Spelling Writing List - After 1 Year at school 

*NOTE:  Results will vary depending on when your child started school.

Reading Spelling Rockets - By the end of Term 3 your child should know all the                                                     words from the Magenta and Red Spelling rocket,                                                     which is a total of 40 words

                                                By the end of Term 4 - your child should know all the                                                 words from the Yellow spelling rocket, which is a total                                                 of 34 words

I hope this helps to keep your child on track with their Spelling words. This will definitely help them to be good readers and story writers.
